Multi-Column Tag Map is WordPress plug in designed to create a list of posts, pages, categories, authors, taxonomies and yes, tags, used on your site in a layout not unlike that of an index you would find in a book.

Over the years there have been multiple additions to the plugin with dozens of shortcode options. This can get a little overwhelming when looking at the instructions in WordPress markdown formatting. So like the title of the site says, here we will try to make heads or tails of all the options.

If you have any questions hopefully they can be cleared up here. If not, please start with the support forums as your question might already be answered and if not, your question may help someone else having the same issue out. If you need further assistance, you can contact me.

To start, I recommend the responsive option. This plugin was written when static sites were still the norm and the default columns option should be considered legacy and deprecated.

And a small note about plugins available in the WordPress repository , the vast majority are available for free and most are created and supported by individuals and it's a good deal of work usually on the plugin authors' free time. So, if you are using a plugin and like it, feel free to donate a little. If you are using a plugin on a site where it's helping you make any income at all, think about donating a little to the plugin author to say thanks. Maybe at the very least, leave a review.

Thanks
